These Terms & Conditions govern your use of maisonantica.ca and purchases from Maison Antica. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.
Vintage and Antique Items
Maison Antica sells curated vintage home décor, collectibles, antique objects, and related goods. Many items are pre-owned, one of a kind, and may show age, wear, patina, repairs, variations, or other characteristics consistent with their history.
These characteristics are not necessarily defects. Please review the complete description, photographs, measurements, materials, and condition notes before purchasing. Contact us before ordering if you require additional information.
Colours and proportions may appear differently depending on photography, lighting, and screen settings.
Prices, Taxes, and Shipping
Unless otherwise stated, prices are shown in Canadian dollars. Product prices do not include shipping or applicable sales taxes unless expressly indicated.
Your checkout total will show:
- The item price;
- The available shipping charge for the delivery destination; and
- Applicable taxes.
International customers may also be responsible for customs duties, import taxes, brokerage charges, or other destination-country fees. These charges are not controlled by Maison Antica and are not included unless explicitly shown at checkout.
Orders and Availability
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An order is accepted when Maison Antica confirms acceptance or begins fulfilling it.
Because many products are unique and may also be offered through other sales channels, an item may occasionally become unavailable after an order is placed. If that occurs, we will cancel the unavailable item and issue a refund.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order for suspected fraud, payment failure, inventory error, incorrect pricing, shipping restrictions, or other legitimate reasons. If payment has already been collected for a cancelled order, it will be refunded.
Payment
Payments are processed through the payment methods offered at checkout, including WooPayments and its supported card or digital-wallet options.
You confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method and that the billing information provided is accurate.
Shipping and Delivery
Available shipping services and estimated charges are calculated at checkout using the destination and the product’s available shipping information. Maison Antica currently uses Chit Chats and its supported carriers where available.
Delivery dates are estimates and are not guarantees. Delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, incorrect addresses, service interruptions, or events outside our reasonable control are not the responsibility of Maison Antica.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Additional charges arising from an incorrect address, refused shipment, or unsuccessful delivery may be deducted from a refund or charged before reshipment, where permitted by law.
Returns and Refunds
Returns, cancellations, damaged-item claims, and refunds are governed by our Refund & Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
Please carefully inspect photographs, measurements, descriptions, and condition notes before purchasing vintage or antique merchandise.
Customer Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account. Please notify Maison Antica if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
Acceptable Use
You may not use this website to:
- Violate applicable laws or the rights of another person.
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
- Interfere with the website’s security or operation.
- Introduce malicious software.
- Copy, scrape, reproduce, or commercially exploit website content without permission.
Intellectual Property
Maison Antica’s website content—including its branding, written descriptions, photographs, graphics, and page designs—is owned by Maison Antica or used with permission. It may not be reproduced or commercially used without prior written authorization.
Third-Party Services and Links
The website may use or link to third-party services, including payment processors, shipping providers, social platforms, and external websites. Their separate policies and terms govern their services.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Maison Antica is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the website or products.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights available in your jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms & Conditions when our services, policies, or legal obligations change. The version posted when an order is placed will apply to that order unless applicable law requires otherwise.
